After studying marketing at university Scott got his first taste of digital marketing back in the early noughties while on an industrial work placement working for a luxury food business.

He’s had a passion for digital marketing & luxury food ever since.

With experience in digital marketing training, coaching & developing agency & client teams. Scott is focused on helping businesses to build their internal team’s levels of digital marketing competency.


Digital Marketing Experience

After university Scott joined Optimiser the small medium business SMB division of leading search marketing agency BigMouthMedia. Soon he moved into the core business where he worked as a senior account manager accross key clients & then as interim head of operations.

He then moved to a consultancy business where he worked on a project to launch a multi-lingual Kellogg’s website acting as their digital marketing manager.

To develop his knowledge in multichannel digital marketing Scott took a role in the digital team at LEWIS where he was responsible for managing clients across web design & development, video, display, email marketing, search & marketing automation.

Prior to starting Balanced Impact Scott worked at a search marketing start up where he ran the consultancy side of the business scaling the business to £4.2m revenue and taking the team from 6 to 60 over a period of 6 years.

Scott works as managing director of Balanced Impact as well as coaching at the Google Digital Garage in Edinburgh.
